Description
In the fall of 1999, a good friend that works at Polaris named Ed Skomoroh laid out plan for a re-creation of Hetteen’s Alaska trip, suggested another Alaskan adventure to mark the 40th anniversary of the journey. Hetteen himself was going on the trip as well as others from Polaris. Hetteen wanted to include stops in the same villages to see if any landmarks from the first trip still existed.
